  1. Agreement to Terms

    By accessing or using the website for Go Sit Back (the "Service") or booking any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of the terms, you must not access the website or use our services.

  2. Services and Booking

    1. Service Quotations and Pricing: All service quotes provided through our website or system are estimates. The final price may be adjusted if the actual condition, size, or specific requirements of the property differ significantly from the information provided during booking.
    2. Minimum Charge: We reserve the right to establish a minimum service fee for all bookings to ensure profitability.
    3. Additional Services: Any services requested outside of the standard package, such as oven cleaning, interior window cleaning, or laundry, are add-ons and will result in an additional fee, which will be communicated and agreed upon before work is completed.
  3. Payment and Fees

    1. Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the service. We primarily accept credit card payments processed through our platform.
    2. Late Cancellation/Lock-Out Fee: If you cancel or change the date/time less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, or if our crew is unable to access the premises upon arrival (lock-out), you agree to pay a cancellation or lock-out fee.
    3. Non-Standard Condition Fee (Pricing Disasters): You agree that quoted prices assume an average-sized room in average condition. If the service takes significantly longer than estimated due to factors like excessive clutter or heavy soiling , we reserve the right to add an extra fee to the final bill. The client will be notified *before* the team proceeds with the additional work.
  4. Client Responsibilities

    1. Access: The client is responsible for providing our crew safe and timely access to the property.
    2. Pet Policy: The client is responsible for securing any pets that may interfere with the service or pose a safety risk to our team. Please note that homes with pets may incur an additional fee due to extra cleaning effort required for fur removal.
    3. Valuables: The client is responsible for securing or locking away any valuables, money, or sensitive electronics before the crew arrives.
  5. Satisfaction Guarantee and Liability

    1. Service Guarantee: If you are not completely satisfied with a part of the cleaning service, you must notify Go Sit Back within 24 hours of the service being completed. We will work with the assigned service provider to arrange a re-clean or provide a remedy for the specific issue at no extra charge. No refund claims will be given once the cleaning service has been carried out without the opportunity to correct the problem.
    2. Liability for Damages: Go Sit Back operates as a platform that connects customers with independent cleaning service providers (Contractors). All cleaning services are performed by independent contractors who are not employees or agents of Go Sit Back. In the event of damage caused during service, liability rests with the contracted service provider who performed the work. Go Sit Back will facilitate communication between the customer and contractor to resolve any damage claims, but Go Sit Back is not directly liable for damages caused by independent contractors.
  6. Independent Contractor Relationship

    1. Platform Services: Go Sit Back provides a technology platform that connects customers seeking cleaning services with independent cleaning service providers ("Contractors" or "Professionals"). Go Sit Back does not directly provide cleaning services.
    2. Independent Contractor Status: All cleaning services booked through our platform are performed by independent contractors who operate their own businesses. These contractors are not employees, agents, or representatives of Go Sit Back. Each contractor maintains control over how they perform their services, their work schedule, and their business operations.
    3. Contractor Responsibilities: Independent contractors are responsible for:
      • Maintaining their own liability insurance
      • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
      • Providing their own cleaning supplies and equipment
      • Determining their own methods of service delivery
      • Managing their own taxes and business registrations
    4. Go Sit Back's Role: Go Sit Back's role is limited to:
      • Providing the technology platform for bookings and payments
      • Facilitating communication between customers and contractors
      • Processing payments on behalf of contractors
      • Vetting contractors through verification processes
      • Providing customer support and dispute resolution assistance
    5. Customer Acknowledgment: By using our platform, you acknowledge and agree that you are contracting directly with the independent service provider assigned to your job, and not with Go Sit Back. Go Sit Back acts solely as a facilitator and is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or conduct of independent contractors.
